This week's story is Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendack. We follow the story of Max, who is sent to his room. Our task today is to try and understand how Max is feeling.
For today's activity, watch up to 1 minutes and 6 seconds (1:06).
There are two ways today's activity can be done.
1. Write a question for Max, trying to figure out how he is feeling and why he might be feeling that way and submit it to the Padlet page (link below).
2. Ask your child to take the role of Max (we call this 'hot seating') and your child answers questions as though he/she were Max.
Finish the activity by thinking of a sentence, saying the sentence and then writing the sentence using the prompt.
'I am ________________________________ because ______________________________.'
